I’ve been looking at online websites and information about ‘public speaking’ and have been practicing the speech I said at the presentation at home and trying to improve my confidence. As a team member I feel that more communication would be beneficial and there’s always more for more organisational methods. I have realised whilst working within a team my faults, disadvantages and cons not only reflect on my work and development but my team members and it isn’t a nice feeling. You genuinely care about letting down your team and disappointing them. It makes your faults more noticeable to yourself when three other people are pointing it out to you (in a constructive way mostly) Now I feel I have gained more of an understanding of what I need to improve, learning from my team members. I not only want to take action to make improvements but to also not forgot this project management experience but to refer to it.

Hi Sam - I've loved reading your blog and I have to say I loved your part in the presentation too. I'm glad to read your personal reflections and how you have identified your own personal areas for improvement -have confidence that presenting does get easier with practice and your other team members have come up with some good suggestions for you - when I was a student I was also advised to practice in front of a mirror and it does work!!! You have played a great part in the team project - be proud of what you have achieved :-)
