I want to
create a pattern design that holds symbolism that promotes healthy self-esteem
in young people which they often lack. As we are promoting natural unique
beauty it’s natural to me to draw inspirations from the vast beauty of the
natural world…butterflies and trees. Trees symbolise many things to many
cultures, faiths and religions, Mother Nature is often depicted as a wise,
strong, ancient tree. The mother willow in the Disney film Pocahontas is a
beautiful entity that individuals go to ask for advice like a spiritual agony
aunt her structure like her knowledge and wisdom is strong runs deep into the
ground, sores high into the sky.

I like this image as it shows detailed patterns within the patterns of the butterfly wings, I will pursuit work with this idea but in my style.
