Christmas Break Meeting 2nd January

First of all,  HAAAPPPY NEW YEAR! Now down to business, after our meeting today we have clarified our final plans, dealt with issues such as problems with copyright butterfly images and logos within our campaign poster proposal by deciding to remove the logos and for me the team illustrator to draw a butterfly template with a surface pattern design for the campaign poster.

I also presented to the team the mock 3D models for my gift bag packaging designs and discussed improvements and decided which model was variable and most suited to appeal to our target audience (11 to 19 year olds)

I decided to create a tree shaped gift bag so it links with our four product posters tree theme promoting natural beauty, it also creates a home for the butterflies to meet and social representing our young customers within our Facebook page: the butterfly movement.

My next step to start making the revised gift bag model out of card all nice and neat with my illustrations decorating it. The bottom half of the gift bag will have my tree bark pattern on it and the top half of the gift bag will display green tree top with our campaign butterfly mascots upon it which links with our The Butterfly Movement. I think we are on our way to producing a really fun, meaningful campaign project for The Body Shop through the D & AD New Blood Competition.
